Third edition of PolskaEire17 has now came to an end
We hope you enjoyed almost one month of fun, #dobrycraic and celebration of Polish-Irish friendship!
The 3rd PolskaÉire Festival took take place during the week of May 18- June 18 all over the island of Ireland, featuring over 100 events across Ireland including Cork, Dublin, Ennis, Galway, Gorey, Kilkenny, Limerick, Waterford and Drogheda to name just a few!
The PolskaÉire Festival 2017 was officially opened on Monday, May 26, in Gorey by the Polish Ambassador to Ireland Mr. Ryszard Sarkowicz together with Councilor Pip Breen, Cathaoirleach of Gorey Municipal District of Wexford County Council, other dignitaries and invited guests.
The Closing Gala of the Festival featured Distinct Orbit & IMLE in concert – a unique collaboration between a Polish and Irish bands, who played an unfrogetable gig at Button Factory (June 4th). The concert was an unforgettable musical experience for both the artists and the audience.
PolskaÉire 2017 secured media partnership from the RTÉ and Polskie Radio and TVP Polonia. It also received backing from various sponsors and partners. Thank you all for your invaluable assistance!
